Would you love a simple program to guide you to Better Riding – a solid seat, soft hands, and confusion free communication with your horse?
There is a way of riding that works in any discipline…
And it can help you even if you are new to coming back to riding after years away.
It’s not a style, or a trend. It is a way of riding that works with the body, alignment, and physics.
It is what every great rider has is common from the classical dressage rider to the cowboy out in the field.
It is likely much easier than what you have been doing, and even a small change can dramatically improve your balance – being able to move well with your horse, to sit a spook, to easily guide your horse, and to eliminate “bad” habits.
My promise to you is to give you simple steps each day, that you can do at home or at the barn, for consistent improvement in Your Riding, so that you can also feel the benefits of this aligned, balanced way of riding.
My name is Callie King. I have been publishing a weekly show for over 13 years on riding tips and horse training.
I am passionate about helping riders and I’ve taught clinics, created courses, and written books.
I believe in a holistic approach to riding, considering both the horse and person, and being aware of all the factors that go into “riding success”.
I also believe that we all learn best in safe and positive environments, and want to encourage you to create this for yourself and your horse, starting with how you think about yourself as a rider. I already think you’re great. You wouldn’t have found this program and still be reading if you weren’t interested in being your best.
I’m here to say it’s ok to do that one step at a time, which is just what we will do together through these daily lessons.
What I see is that to get started, or to get back on track, many riders simply need a path forward, easy steps to do each day to learn and build new habits.
The good news is you are not doomed as a rider!
You are not the “wrong” body type to ride, too old, too young, or too inexperienced.
Here’s what most people don’t talk about… the principles of great riding don’t change for different disciplines or different kinds of horses.
Don’t get me wrong, there are elements of posture that change for different activities. If you are jumping, you will want a short stirrup and you need to be able to easily fold forward.
If you are out on an all day trail ride, you will want a longer stirrup and the ability to change positions of your body.
However, the principles of balance, body alignment, and how we communicate with the horse from the saddle… these things remain constant.
A rider with a Balanced Seat is able to ride any discipline, English or western, dressage or trail riding, because they understand that there are fundamentals of riding that never change.
They learn to communicate with their horse, no matter what the horse’s prior training or experiences
The seat is more than just your butt in the saddle.
Classically speaking, the seat also refers to your thighs against the saddle.
Your seat is also not only how you sit, but how you move.
If you change even one thing in your riding – the position of your foot in the stirrup or how you hold the reins – it will change your seat. (And the rest of your posture).
When I think of great riding, I think of more than just one’s abilities in the saddle.
Great riding is about being able to understand the horse, to be attuned to them, to communicate effectively what you are asking them to do as you ride.
It is about responding when things don’t go as planned.
In this program, I have organized what I feel are the most important and concise lessons for every rider.
If you would love to feel the difference of a Balanced Seat in your riding,
If you are a new or returning rider, and want to make a measurable improvement in your riding skills in the next 30 days, I invite you to join me in the Better Riding Quest.
This 30-day program is designed specifically for riders like you who want to make a big improvement in their riding with simple daily exercises.
With our program, you’ll stay consistent with easy-to-follow exercises that you can do both at home and with your horse.
These exercises focus on key lessons to transform your riding, starting with the foundation: your seat.
Develop a balanced, spook-proof seat, find soft and steady hands, and understand the science of communication from the saddle so your horse knows exactly what you are asking.
Whether you are just starting out or getting back into riding after some time away, the Better Riding Quest will guide you every step of the way.
Join us and take the first step towards becoming the rider you’ve always wanted to be.
Our alumni students reported feeling a difference after just a few lessons:
Improve your posture and balance in the saddle with movements to practice at home
Learn more about your horse through exercises exploring what interests and motivates them
Practice techniques for moving through fear and releasing tension in your own body
Simple groundwork exercises to prepare your horse for a great ride
All you need is 5-10 minutes a day (or you can go through the program at whatever pace is best for you – it’s all open as soon as you join and you have a full 90 days access to complete.)
If you have ever felt that you just don’t have time for long courses or being online for webinars, or you simply want to improve your riding faster, join me in this quest!
Of course, in these 30 days, we will also go beyond just riding position…
I have often said that being a better rider is so much more than how we sit in the saddle.
It is our mindset, how we communicate with our horse and our ability to stay calm even when things don’t go perfect.
So in this quest for Better Riding, we will be talking about this too 😉
Here’s the best part…
I hope that this 30 Day Program will be just your first step (or your next step) learning with us at HorseClass. For over a decade, we have been building our curriculum for riders and horse people, with programs on riding, training, horse care, mindset and more.
When you join the 30 Day Better Riding Quest, the entire fee to join can then be applied to your next program with us. (any program of equal or higher value)
That means you are essentially getting these 30 Days for Free!
Each day of the Quest, I provide an additional video answering questions and providing additional tips around that day’s lesson and exercise.
This includes a few bonus guided movement sessions, demos with horses, and candid discussion for your questions.
Plus I will be cheering you on all the way.
You will receive a daily email from me with the link to that day’s video and you will have your 30 Day Quest Tracking Sheet you can print to check off each completed lesson. (Because who doesn’t love the satisfaction of marking something done!)
Finally, at HorseClass we like to have fun… so, we have prizes for you!
At the end of each week, when you complete all the lessons, you will be entered into our drawing for a HorseClass prize.
And remember, ALL students in the 30 Day Quest get the full enrollment fee to apply to their next HorseClass program.
I know you can make a change in your riding.
I believe that with clear, simple instructions and exercises, you can overcome the challenges and the confusion, and HAVE FUN!
We have already had two groups of students go through the Better Riding Quests, and they continue to write in celebrating the changes in their riding.
Not just in how their balance, ability to execute patterns, safely ride spooks, etc, but also in how they feel with their horse.
I want the same results for you.
If you join this Better Riding Quest, complete the lessons and exercises, and do NOT notice a difference in your riding. I will personally refund your entire purchase price.
For over 13 years, I have been sharing these exercises, and I am confident in their effectivness. I would love for you to experience these too.
Join below and let’s get started TODAY!
No need to have your own horse! These lessons will be just as applicable if you ride school horses, friend’s horses, etc.
No problem! Most of these exercises, even the ridden ones, will also encourage you to practice at home, whether that is feeling a certain movement, bringing more attention to an area of your body, noticing more around you as a horse does, etc.
These lessons are designed for the beginner to intermediate rider. These cover the fundamentals of rider position, horse behavior and training, and mindset for calm. Even if you are brand new to horses and riding, you will be able to practice each of these exercises. For more experienced riders, this can serve as a helpful review and reminder of the important fundamentals.
You have access to this program for 90 days. There is no need to follow the daily program, you can watch all the videos right away if you wish, or watch them anytime during the 90 day access period.
Many of these lessons are new, and have not yet been included in other programs. Others have been taught in these other courses, and I have also included them here in the format of this quest for review. Many times I find it is these most important fundamentals that we may know and have heard before, but we forget or overlook how powerful they can be.
Thank you, Callie! Your standard for excellence is evident throughout this program, and your lessons make learning fun, interesting and enjoyable! This program helped me get ready for a safe, comfortable return to the saddle!

These last few classes have really hit where I am as a rider. I can feel the balance and rhythm on my horse for short increments and then we lose it, so my challenge is keeping it. I can’t wait to work on this.

Great exercises to bring body awareness into our rides. Love these exercises. Great job Callie!!
